QUESTION: Do you make any money on the products I sell?

ANSWER: No. You are paying us to install the store. We do not make any money on the products you sell.


QUESTION: Are there any other fees?

ANSWER: No. All you need is a web host and a domain name.


QUESTION: I already have a web site -- will you install the store on my site?

ANSWER: Yes. Your store will be installed within 24 to 48 hours.


QUESTION: What if you can't install the store on my site for some reason?

ANSWER: If for some reason we can't install the store on your site, we will give you a full refund. There shouldn't be any problems, though, as the store functions with almost all web hosts. Otherwise, all sales are final.


QUESTION: I don't have a web site. Can you recommend a web host?

ANSWER: Yes, Lunarpages -- as low as $4.95 per month. You get Unlimited storage space and Unlimited bandwidth. A great deal from a very reliable company with great customer service. Highly recommended.


QUESTION: What is dropshipping?

ANSWER: If you don't want to keep an inventory, or mess with any shipping hassles, then a dropshipper is the way to go -- dropshippers do all of the work for you. All of the products in your web store can be dropshipped by a single distributor directly to your customer's doorstep. Using a dropshipper means you don't need a lot of cash to get started. There is no need to buy items until you have sold the item and collected the money from your customer. Therefore, by using a dropshipper there is no need for inventory, packing, or trips to the Post Office.


QUESTION: Will new products become available for my store?

ANSWER: Yes, the dropshipper gets new products monthly. When new products become available on their web site, you have permission to use their product descriptions and product images for your own store.


QUESTION: How many products are available for my store?

ANSWER: Your store comes pre-loaded with over 700 items. We've already added most of the New Age items to the store but the dropshipper has other items that are not New Age related that you may add to your store. They have over 3000 products available. Plus, they get new products available frequently. Please look at the demo store thoroughly to see the 700 products that come with your store installation. Make sure you are satisfied with the items shown in the demo store before ordering.


QUESTION: Exactly how does it all work?

ANSWER: After a customer orders from your web shop, you will automatically receive an email stating who your customer is and what they ordered. You then go to the dropshipper's web site and log-in with your password. Next, find the items you need to order by typing the item codes into the search engine. Place the items into your shopping cart (you get at least 50% discount off of every item). When you are ready, go to Checkout to complete your order. Enter your customer's address as the "ship to" address and your address as the billing address. To pay the dropshipper you may use a credit card. All orders must be prepaid. After you complete your order, the dropshipper will pick, pack, and ship the order to your customer within 24-48 hours.


QUESTION: Who pays for shipping?

ANSWER: Your customer does. When they order from you they pay a shipping fee, and you give this to the dropshipper so they can ship the order. Packages are shipped by UPS Ground rate (7 to 10 days for delivery after package is shipped). The shipping fee is only $6.95 for orders under $50 (unlimited size OR unlimited weight). Orders above $50 only pay 15% of the order's total. This low shipping cost also includes Insurance.


QUESTION: Is there a Dropshipping Fee?

ANSWER: No. Some dropshippers charge a dropshipping fee of $3.00 to $5.00 with each order, but you will not have this fee. Nor will you pay any membership fees or any other kind of fees. There are no other costs.


QUESTION: Does the dropshipper have a minimum order requirement?

ANSWER: No. You can order as much or as little as you need.


QUESTION: Are the prices shown in the demo store Retail or Wholesale prices?

ANSWER: Retail. The prices shown in the demo stores are what your customers will pay YOU. Your wholesale prices are at least 50% off these retail prices. For example, if an item cost $20.00 retail, you will earn at least $10.00 on that sale.


QUESTION: Will my customers know that I use a dropshipper or how much I pay?

ANSWER: No. The dropshipper's company name does not appear on anything that will be exposed to your customers, including invoices, products, warranties, or packaging materials. All orders are shipped using only a "Customer Service" label. And your customers will never know what amount you paid for any items. In addition, no catalogs or advertisments will ever be sent to your customers. Your customers will remain your customers. Period.


QUESTION: How are returns handled?

ANSWER: Any order cancelled after shipping occurs will be credited back minus the original and return shipping costs, plus a restocking fee of 15%. This policy requires that all packages be returned to the dropshipper unopened and in good condition.

In case of a damaged or defective item, notify the dropshipper within 3 days so they can have another package sent out, or credit can be given to you for the defective item. They require that you send the defective item back for an exchange before they ship the replacement. Always email the dropshipper to let them know the problem BEFORE you ship anything back. All orders must be accompanied by the Original Invoice and Original Packaging material.


QUESTION: Tell me about the web shop?

ANSWER: The web shop uses an open source php script that has shopping cart capabilities, a search engine, and a password protected administration area that allows you to add, edit or delete products directly from your browser. Your web shop comes pre-loaded with 700 products. The 700 products in the demo stores are the exact same products that will be in your store for you to sell (the ebooks, however, are not included unless you order the "All-In-One Store" package). QUESTION: Is the store SEO friendly?

ANSWER: Yes. SEO (search engine optimization) has been built into the store, providing the best URLs with regards to getting your pages indexed. This means that instead of a product URL looking like this: "yourdomain.com/index.php?cPath=4", it will look like this: "youdomain.com/nag-champa-incense-p-81.html". Having the actual product name within the URL will help bring more customers to your site from the search engines, such as Google. Every product you add to your store will be automatically optimized for the search engines!


QUESTION: Can I sell on eBay?

ANSWER: Yes. After an auction is over, you can direct the winning bidder to your store so they can buy more items (getting repeat customers is the key to success). You may sell on other auction sites as well.


QUESTION: How many products can my store handle?

ANSWER: Your store can handle thousands of items. You may add virtually as many items as you like provided you have enough web space. You get Unlimited storage space with Lunarpages.


QUESTION: Can I add my own products to my store, or products from other wholesalers?

ANSWER: Yes. You may need to adjust the shipping rate fees to help cover your shipping costs or you can raise the product retail prices.


QUESTION: Can I place a banner on my store?

ANSWER: Yes. Your store has the ability to add a banner to the bottom pages of your store. You can use a banner to advertise another site of yours, or promote an affiliate program, or to sell advertising to other sites.


QUESTION: Does my store come with a visitor counter?

ANSWER: Yes. Your store has a counter at the bottom of the page that counts unique visitors to your site. This is helpful so you can see how much traffic you are getting from your advertising campaigns.


QUESTION: Can I get a blog?

ANSWER: The blog is an option for an additional $48. This is a very sophisticated blogging system with many functions and is very easy to use. Features include: the ability to add images or video to your posts (such as YouTube videos); the ability for readers to leave comments (you can disable this if you want); ability to categorize and tag your posts; Search function; Blog Stats; Calendar; and more. There are several themes that come included. If you don't like any of the themes included, there are literally hundreds of themes you can download for free. QUESTION: Do I get a links page for my store? I want to exchange links with other web sites.

ANSWER: Yes. Your store comes with its own links directory and "exchange links" program. By exchanging links with other web sites, you can receive more exposure of your store and in turn create a useful resource for your visitors. You can add as many link categories and links to the directory as you want. Visitors to your site who wish to exchange links with you simply fill out your Exchange Links form. Any links submitted will not be listed in your directory until you give your approval and enable their links, thus giving you complete control over which links are added and which are not. QUESTION: Does the store allow me to write a newsletter and send it to my customers?

ANSWER: Yes. This is a great feature. When your customers order from you they can also subscribe to your newsletter -- you just login to your administration area, write your newsletter, and send it to all of your subscribers. This is a great way to get those repeat customers. Your newsletter can tell your customers about any special discounts you may be offering, new items, etc.


QUESTION: Does the store have a mailing list feature?

ANSWER: Yes. Each time someone orders from you, all of their information is kept in your database (including their email address) so whenever you want to email all of your customers at once, you just login to your adminstration area, write your email, and send it.


QUESTION: Can I change the look of the web shop? Redesign it?

ANSWER: Yes. You can change the look by uploading a different background image and creating a unique logo. You can also change the color layout of the store -- this is done by editing a single page where all the color codes are located (it takes some time to get the colors looking just the way you want, so expect some testing and re-testing). If you plan on doing more than this, this will take some know-how or a willingness to learn. To make a whole redesign of the store you will need some experience with web design. There is a forum and "Contributions" section online that should help you with this.


QUESTION: How do I add products or categories?

ANSWER: All you do is go to your administration area and log-in with your password. Here you can add, edit or delete products (or categories) as you wish, using only your browser. To add a product, you just type in the Title, Description, Price, etc. Changes made are seen immediately in your store. Our Help page will explain everything in detail.


QUESTION: What about pictures of the products? How do I upload these images?

ANSWER: Images may be obtained by the dropshipper from their web site. Just save the images to your computer, then log-in to your adminstration area of your store to add your products. For each product you want to add, you will be asked to upload the corresponding image from your computer to your store. You may also copy the text of the product descriptions from the dropshipper's web site.


QUESTION: What if a product goes out of stock or is discontinued?

ANSWER: This is your store so it is up to you to maintain it. When a product is Out of Stock you can put it in suspension (suspension keeps the product from being viewed by your customers but remains in your database until it becomes available again). You can find out when an item is back in stock by visiting the dropshipper's web site. Discontinued Items are also listed there.


QUESTION: Can I change the prices in my store?

ANSWER: Yes, you may raise or lower any price in your store. If you decide to have a sale, or if you think you can sell a particuliar item for more money, then change the prices to whatever you want. However, your discount is based on the retail prices currently shown in the demo store and is set by the dropshipper. You get at least 50% discount off these prices.


QUESTION: Can I offer my customers coupon codes?

ANSWER: Yes. It works like this: during Checkout a customer can type a coupon code that you previously gave them (or that you advertised) and a customer will receive a discount off his total (such as 10%). You set the percentage of the discount, the End and Start dates, and the store will generate a unique coupon code that you can give out to your customers. This is a great way to encourage repeat customers.


QUESTION: What kind of payments can my store accept?

ANSWER: Your store can handle many different payment systems: PayPal, Authorize.net, 2CheckOut, iPayment, PSiGate, SECPay, COD, checks and money orders. If you have your own merchant account you may use that, too. By default, we will set-up your store to accept PayPal, as well as checks and money orders. PayPal is all you really need (customers can now order with or without a Paypal account). If you want to use another payment system to process credit cards, such as Authorize.net, you can set this up yourself. You can find help in the message boards for this.


QUESTION: How does PayPal work?

ANSWER: When a customer orders securely with credit card using PayPal, the money is automatically deposited into your PayPal account. After you pay the dropshipper to fulfill the order, what is left in your account is your profit. You can let the money accumulate with a few more orders and then either have the money deposited into your checking account or have PayPal issue you a check. QUESTION: What about sales tax? How does my store calculate this?

ANSWER: If your state has a sales tax, just log-in to your adminstration area and set the sales tax rate for your state. Sales tax will then be automatically calculated when a customer orders from you. Please note: Only those customers who reside in the same state as you will be charged a sales tax. You do not need to collect sales tax from customers outside your state.


QUESTION: I live outside the U.S. -- can I get my own prebuilt web shop?

ANSWER: Yes, we have foreign customers using our store installation. However, the dropshipper only ships to residents within the United States so you will have to market your store to U.S. customers.


QUESTION: If I order, what does the price include?

ANSWER: The price includes installing the store, the product database, and uploading over 700 product images to your hosting site, plus support by email if you have any questions about managing your store. There is also a "Help" page available that answers the most frequently asked questions about running the store (how to add new products, delete products, etc). We can also install a blog (optional).
